Basic behavioural profile to establish inner needs and decision-making criteria.

Support answering the exercises in an easy, effective, and efficient way.

Provide an overview of all data collected to engage with a medical professional.

Deliver a non-clinical analysis.

Create an actionable, feasible plan for the next three months.

What the app cannot do or is prevented from doing

No clinical recommendations. This is prevented at the application level.

Governance against self-harm or harming others applies to the chat. The chat will offer ideas for finding professional support.

Guide you in understanding how you feel if you are confused. Mental health professionals are the right people to help you process your thoughts, not this app.

About the book and app

What the app does well

The book and app are designed to work together. Using the app alone offers benefits, but not as many as when used with the manual. The Discover Yourself section is fully accessible without the book, and the inner needs profile is a useful starting point on its own. For the full experience, including the 12 structured exercises and extended chat capabilities, the book is the entry point.

What is the access code and where do I find it?

Inside the book, you will find the access code that unlocks the exercises in Part 3 and the extended chat capabilities. It is printed in the book. If you have purchased a copy and cannot locate it, reach out using the contact link at the bottom of this page, and we will help you find it.

Is the app free forever?

The Discover Yourself section is free and will remain so. The chat function uses AI resources covered by your book purchase. Future versions of the app will offer extended capabilities, which will be charged based on usage rather than features. The core experience you have today will not be taken away.

What happens if I cannot complete the exercises?

Nobody completes the exercises on day one. They are designed to be worked through as you progress and revisited as your understanding deepens. The analysis will be less precise with fewer responses, but it is always accurate for where you are right now. The app is a tool for tracking progress over time, not a test to pass in a single sitting.

About the therapeutic approach

Is this therapy?

No. The book and app are not therapy, do not replace therapy, and are not designed to serve as a therapeutic relationship. They provide a structured framework for understanding your patterns, developing a healing plan, and coordinating your work across modalities. Think of them as the infrastructure that sits alongside therapy, not an alternative to it.

Can I use this alongside my current therapist?

Yes, and that is precisely what it is designed for. The manual and app create a plan that integrates your existing therapeutic activities rather than competing with them. The app’s PDF output can serve as talking points with your therapist, giving your sessions a concrete starting point and a record of the work you have been doing between appointments.

Is this suitable for someone in an active crisis?

The book and app are designed to provide a framework for healing. They work best when there is enough stability to engage in structured reflection and plan-building. If you are in active crisis, please seek professional assistance first. The app’s chat function can help you find relevant support near you, and its governance prevents any harmful responses.

Where can I find resources near me?

After completing the Discover Yourself questionnaire, use the chat function to find relevant resources in your area. Simply ask the chat box a question, for example: «Can you help me find a trauma therapist near me?» The chat will offer suggestions based on what you share.

About the psychedelics chapter

I am uncomfortable with the psychedelics chapter. Can I skip it?

Yes, without any loss to the rest of the framework. The exercises in Part 3, the inner needs profile, and the plan-building work are fully independent of that chapter. As a starting point, somatic therapy combined with talk therapy offers a well-supported first step toward identifying and processing the real source of the trauma. You can revisit the psychedelics chapter whenever you feel ready, or not at all.

Is the author recommending I try psychedelics?

No. The author invites readers to build a healing plan using all the tools available to them, with a mental health professional orchestrating the plan. He shares his own experience honestly, including what he did, what worked, what did not, and where professional support was and was not involved. The decision about which tools belong in your plan is yours, made in consultation with your clinical team.

About your data

Is my data private?

Your profile, answers, and chat history are stored only in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to or held by the application beyond the AI processing that occurs during chat. Anthropic, which powers the AI, does not use data submitted via its API to train its models, and responses are not stored after delivery. No account is required to begin, and no personal data is collected at the point of entry.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

By default, there is no data retention. If you want to retain it, create an account by clicking on the Sign In button at the top of the page.
If you wish to remain anonymous, export your profile regularly using the JSON export in the Your Data section. That file can be restored on any device at any time via the Import button.
The PDF export is for sharing with a therapist or keeping as a record; the JSON export is your backup.

Book reviews

Daniela, 36, Graphic Designer

I have read every major trauma book published in the last decade. This is the first one that told me what to do on Monday morning, not in theory, but with a specific exercise and a clear reason to do it first.
